Huntington Bank presents the 2009 MSA Salmon Shoot-Out |

Join us at Great Lakes Marina in Muskegon on the weekend after July 4th for the 2009 MSA Salmon Shoot-Out, presented by Huntington Bank! The weekend kicks off with the Ladies and Kids Tournament on Friday, July 10th (Captain's meeting for Ladies and Kids is Thursday, July 9th at 7 PM). The entry fee is only $100 so get out there with your kids or ladies team and have some fun. Click Here to read and download the Ladies and Kids Tournament Rules. The MSA Salmon Shoot-Out Pro/Am is a two day event held on Saturday, July 11th and Sunday, July 12th. The Captain's meeting for the Pro/Am is Friday night, July 10th at 7 PM. Entry fees are $250 for Amateur teams and $450 for Pro teams. Click Here to read and download the Entry Form. Please note that the Pro/Am rules have changed slightly for 2009. The mission of the Muskegon Sportfishing Association is to continually preserve, enhance, and promote Muskegon as one of the nation's preeminent fisheries.
The association will actively seek and evaluate projects and determine the level of funding and action required to participate in those endeavors that will meet its goals and objectives.
Projects that will enhance the fishing environment for sportspersons, improve habitat, maintain and increase fish species, and achieve name recognition of the association and for Muskegon County will be evaluated. The primary focus of the Association's mission is Muskegon Lake, however, inland lakes, rivers and streams, lakes connecting to Lake Michigan itself will be included for project consideration.
Only by recognizing and serving the interests of fishing enthusiasts will the Muskegon Sportfishing Association fulfill its Mission. |
